TRACK: ADVOCACY & BUILDING HUMANE COMMUNITIES

When was the last time you met with an elected official or industry stakeholder in your community? Do you feel like you don't have the time, or that it wouldn't be worth the effort? Come to this presentation and see how a small investment in time can exponentially grow your community impact.

We will share our experiences in catalyzing a transformational shift that has resulted in a $5 million commitment of government funding after just one year of investing in these proactive initiatives.

1. Successful strategies for stakeholder relations that can be scaled up or down depending on organizational resources
2. How to avoid key pitfalls that plague organizations when building new relationships
3. The value of a strategic plan and measurements of success
